Job Description

Verde Valley Medical Center is seeking a flexible and experienced ICU RN for a travel assignment. The nurse will float between ICU and MS/Tele units based on staffing needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care in ICU and MS/Tele units
• Float between units as needed
• Work every other weekend
• Adhere to patient safety and medication administration standards (BCMA)
  
  

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent ICU or MS/Tele experience
• Active Arizona RN license or valid compact license (pending accepted)
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
• Open to first-time travelers
• Comfortable working in a flex pool and floating between units
  
  

Unit Details

• ICU Nurse-to-Patient Ratio: 1:1 or 1:2
• MS/Tele Nurse-to-Patient Ratio: 1:4 or 1:5
• Equipment: Standard Med-Surg/Tele equipment; Liko lifts in most rooms
• Charting System: Cerner
• Scrub Color: Navy Blue
