Speakers
Jennie Matays is a dedicated clinical nurse specialist (CNS) who is passionate about evidence-based practice (EBP). She works at Kaiser Permanente, Roseville, as the Magnet Program director. She is committed to advancing the nursing profession and is focused on translating the evidence into clinical practice to improve patient outcomes. With a deep understanding of the importance of EBP at the bedside, she is dedicated to empowering nurses to become critical thinkers and lifelong learners. Jennie strives to foster a culture of inquiry and innovation in nursing care through education and mentorship. Jennie obtained her DNP from the University of Pittsburg-School of Nursing in 2022, with her focus on spontaneous awakening and breathing trials for patients in the ICU.
